Friday:

  • History and Biography Book Discussion Group meets the first Friday of every month from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Main Library.
  • Hernando Heritage Museum Ghost Tour by reservation only for ages 16 and up. Legend has it that the Heritage Museum, a four-story, 12-room house, built more than 151 years ago by Brooksville pioneer John May, is inhabited by the spirits of long-deceased family members, including May’s 3-year-old daughter, Jessie. The Museum offers ghost tours on Friday and Saturday nights from 8:00-10:00 p.m.yard sale

Saturday:

  • Yard sale to support Weeki Wachee Springs State Park 9:00 am – 3:00 pm featuring a variety of vendors in the parking lot of the Park
  • Dade’s Battle of 1835 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at Dade Battlefield Historic State Park includes a battle reenactment at 2:00 p.m. as well as period soldier, Seminole, and civilian camps. It also includes a sutler trade fair, historic arts and crafts demonstrations, full scale cannon firing, musket shooting, tomahawk throwing and primitive archery, and games and activities for children.
  • Teen Anime Club Meeting 11:00 am – 12:30 pm at the Spring Hill Branch Library where teens 12-18 years old are invited to meet other teens with similar interests, draw and discuss manga, and participate in events.

  • Polka Dance 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at The Suncoast Dance Center (13383 County Line Road, Spring Hill) featuring American and polka music performed by the Frank Moravic Band. The cost is $10 for members and $12 for nonmembers. There will be food available and a cash bar.
