Friday:

  • Mani Stone Painting Workshop with the Drepung Gomang Buddhist Monks 5:00 pm at Gaya Jyoti Yoga Studio and Wellness Center. Open to all ages! Space limited.ghost tour
  • Forbidden Broadways Greatest Hits 8:00 pm at Stage West Community Playhouse pays a comical and entertaining tribute to some of theater’s greatest stars and songwriters. Tickets are $15.
  • Hernando Heritage Museum Ghost Tour by reservation only for ages 16 and up. Legend has it that the Heritage Museum, a four-story, 12-room house, built more than 151 years ago by Brooksville pioneer John May, is inhabited by the spirits of long-deceased family members, including May’s 3-year-old daughter, Jessie. The Museum offers ghost tours on Friday and Saturday nights from 8:00-10:00 p.m.

Saturday:

  • Bark Island where you can bring your bestest furry pals over to Pine Island to splash, play, and enjoy the beach from 7:30 until 9:30 a.m.
  • Free Bully Awareness Program 8:30 am – 9:30 am designed for kids who are being or have been bullied, as well as their parents and those who suspect bullying is occurring.
  • Brooksville Gun & Knife Show 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at the Hernando County Fairgrounds featuring all types of new, used, and antique firearms, knives, and related accessories for sale.gun show2
  • Closing Ceremony with the Drepung Gomang Buddhist Monks 12:30 pm on the Weeki Wachee River offering up the sand mandala to the vast, ever changing waters.
  • Moonlight Night Hike 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Dade Battlefield Historic State Park is a 1-mile prowl in search of night creatures.
