Friday:

  • 110th Florida State Fair featuring traditional favorites including thrilling rides, shopping, an abundance of shows and music, arts and crafts, bizarre sideshows like sword swallowing, and a variety of food as well as special concerts by Uncle Kracker, Country Gold, Sister Hazel, and America.   • Open Paint at Artful Possibilities 10:00 am – 5:00 pm where you choose a piece of ceramic or plaster, paint it, and take it home. They’ve got lots of holiday themed pieces as well as every day creations to choose from.
  • Valentine’s Day Dance hosted by the Spring Hill Domino Club 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm at the SNPJ on County Line Road. Entrance is $7.00. Prizes for best lady in red and man in red. For tickets or for reservations may call Vivian Rivera at (352) 346-3531.
  • Stage West Presents “Harvey” by Mary Chase 8:00 pm Tickets are $12 for adults and $8 for students.

Saturday:

  • Nature Hike lead by the Audubon Society around McKethan Lake Nature Trail at 8:00 a.m. Enjoy a two mile walk around the lake and nature trail on U.S. 41 seven miles north of Brooksville. Admission to the park is $2 per person. For more information call Eileen Riccio at (352) 613-5289.

  • Fish Fry at Anderson Snow Park to benefit the employees of Papa Joe’s 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm featuring a fish dinner for just $6 that includes fried fish, hush puppies, cheese grits or baked beans, and a drink.tea
  • A Bea-TEA-ful Valentine’s Day at the Tilted Teacup offering a Paris-themed evening featuring a high tea with delicious eats and carriage rides through the cobblestone streets of downtown Brooksville. $24.95 per person includes soup, a crustless spinach, sundried tomato and monterey jack cheese quiche, a delighful assortment of tea sandwiches, freshly baked scone with cream, and a selection of petit four desserts, along with a perfect selection of teas to compliment. Carriage rides are an additional $10 per person. Seatings are available at 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Sunday:

  • Sportsman’s Club Swap Meet 8:00 am – 3:00 pm featuring used firearms, archery items, reloading equipment and supplies, and related accessories for swap, sale, trade, barter or to be given away.
  • Open Paint at Artful Possibilities 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm where you choose a piece of ceramic or plaster, paint it, and take it home. They’ve got lots of holiday themed pieces as well as every day creations to choose from.
