Friday:

  • U-Pick Strawberries 9:00 am – 5:00 pm at JG Ranch for $2 per pound or they’ll pick them for you for $3 per pound.straw
  • Open Paint at Artful Possibilities 10:00 am – 5:00 pm where you choose a piece of ceramic or plaster, paint it, and take it home. They’ve got lots of holiday themed pieces as well as every day creations to choose from.
  • Wilderness Wonderland 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at Jay B. Starkey Wilderness Park in New Port Richey featuring dancing lights coordinated to popular festive Holiday music in the great outdoors.
  • Candy Cane Acres 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm at the Hernando County Fairgrounds- Visit the Christmas village and stop by Mrs. Claus’ kitchen to decorate a cookie. Then stop by Santa’s workshop to make a craft and take a (Florida style) sleigh ride. Kids can play games and run around in the magical play land and fresh baked treats and decadent fudge, hot chocolate or hot apple cider, and eggnog will be available for everyone to indulge!angels on high
  • Angels on High 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm at The Lake House where guests enjoy viewing the beautiful displays during the event which also includes holiday music, refreshments, and entertainment on the outdoor pavilion. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting every evening too!
  • Two Theater Christmas Shows for the price of one at Stage West starting at 8:00 pm with The Worst/Best Christmas Pageant Ever and A Charlie Brown Christmas.

Saturday:

  • 25th Annual Poinsettia Planting at 9:00 am at The Spring Hill Waterfall where residents are invited to bring poinsettias, sign a memory book and watch garden club members place the plants around the waterfall in honor of loved ones or just because.train

  • Christmas Train Rides at Crews Lake Park 10:00 am – 4:00 pm getting off at Santa’s Cabin in the North Pole to take pictures with the big guy himself.
  • Hernando County Farmers Market 10:00 am – 3:00 pm at 2450 Commercial Way featuring lots of produce, organic produce, local honey, handmade soap, homemade healthy dog food and treats, heirloom plants and seeds and much much more!
  • The 39th Annual Brooksville Christmas Parade in downtown Brooksville starting at 10:00 a.m.
