Volunteers Needed To Teach Life Skill Classes at TLC

TLC_header2 (1)The Life Center is a residential program assisting young, single mothers in Hernando County who are at risk of becoming homeless. It is more than just a place to live. It is a home and it is also a place of learning with the children focusing on their preschool skills and moms learning the skills necessary to become self-sufficient young women capable of reaching their highest potential. TLC is currently in need of materials and volunteers to teach life skill classes in the areas of:

  • Money Management & Consumer Awareness
  • Emergency Solutions
  • Food management
  • Childhood Development
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Hygiene & Health
