The Spring Hill Neighborhood Project

Neighborhood PrjSponsored by Kids Central, The Spring Hill Neighborhood Project began in 2009 and is facilitated by Devereux Kids. The project was created because of the high amount of children placed in foster care due to abuse or neglect in our area and it’s primary goal is to actively involve the community in a partnership that will help keep children and families safe. This is achieved through community members knowing the resources that are currently available and by selflessly becoming a resource to help one another. People partner to problem solve and give advice in the form of a monthly meeting known as the Spring Hill Neighborhood Advisory Council Meeting which takes place the second Tuesday of every month at the Boys and Girls Club of Hernando County (5404 Applegate Dr, Spring Hill, FL 34606) from 6:30 until 8:00 p.m. Those in attendance share new ideas and resources and develop a network of support for one another. If you would like to help or if you have a resource to share contact Noreen St Jean at nstjean@devereux.orgCome and be a part of the solution for some of the issues we face in our community. Your voice and your advice can help identify and create services and programs that promote safety for children. Together we can make our village stronger!
