Pasco Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Spring Hill man for various charges after he attempted to flee when deputies tried to stop him for speeding. Aaron Joaquim Demello, of 1169 Barranca Ave Spring Hill, bailed out of a stolen vehicle after the tire popped. Pasco Deputy Sentner and his K9 Yager deployed and located the suspect in the woods after a short chase. This was K9 Yager’s first apprehension. The suspect had multiple felony warrants out of Pasco County. He was arrested for fleeing to elude, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony habitual DWLSR, vehicle theft, dealing in stolen property, resisting arrest without violence, and failure to appear. He was booked into the Land O’ Lakes Detention Center on more than $30,000 bond (some of his charges have $0 bond).
