Pasco-Hernando State College (PHSC) will host a Hurricane Preparation Expo, on Thursday, August 29 at its North Campus in Brooksville, 11415 Ponce de Leon Blvd. The event will be held outside near building A from 3 to 6 p.m. This educational expo will provide critical information about things people can do to prepare for a tropical storm or hurricane.
The expo will feature sessions taught by experts from the college and our community, including Josh Linker, Bay News 9 Meteorologist; the Hernando County Sheriff’s Department; Office of Emergency Management; Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative; Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFMD); PHSC faculty; and others.
