Guns, Ammunition, Cocaine & Marijuana Found During Maderia Street Search Warrant

Yesterday, members of the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit and the HCSO SWAT team 30724328_1695732010461903_2596329364182269952_nexecuted a search warrant at 10490 Maderia Street in Spring Hill. The search warrant came at the end of a months-long investigation into illegal activity occurring at the residence.┬áThe investigation revealed that one of the residents, Nelson Lugo, was involved in the sale of illegal narcotics.

During the search of the residence, detectives located the following:

58.7 grams of Cocaine
5.6 grams of Marijuana
Seven firearms
Six boxes of ammunition
$200 in US currency.

Lugo was taken into custody by detectives and charged as follows:

Bond – $31,500
