An investigation by the criminal investigations division revealed that the husband of a principal at Hernando Christian Academy used a school sponsored foreign exchange program to lure victims into his home. Bruce McAllister, who is also a Hernando Christian Academy staff member, courted and molested several underage teenage boys while under his guardianship. McAllister was booked into the Hernando County Jail on $77,000.00 bond. He is being charged with 27 counts of Battery and 5 counts of Sexual Battery by custodian. A spokesperson for the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that McAllister was a civilian volunteer for that agency, and has been dismissed.
