Hernando Audubon is an adventurous, fun-loving group that is passionate about environmental conservation, with a special interest in birds. The mission of the Hernando Audubon Society is to promote an awareness and appreciation of nature; to preserve and protect natural ecosystems; and to encourage responsible environmental stewardship. Hernando Audubon takes an active role advocating for conservation issues of importance to counties that comprise the Nature Coast.
