Free Hurricane Preparation Expo August 28th

hurricane prepPasco-Hernando State College will host a Hurricane Preparation Expo, on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at its North Campus in Brooksville (11415 Ponce de Leon Blvd). This educational expo will provide critical details on how to prepare for pending tropical storms and hurricanes to ensure that families and property are safe and protected. The event will be held outside near building A from 3 to 6 p.m. The expo will feature sessions taught by experts from the college and our community, including the Hernando County Sheriff’s Department, Office of Emergency Management, Withlacoochee River Electric Cooperative, Duke Energy, and others. Members of the community are invited to attend at no cost. This event is part of PHSC’s Community Awareness Series, meeting a critical need for the community to better understand the availability of services in Pasco and Hernando counties.
