Enrollment is open for Live Oak Theatre’s eight annual performing arts summer camp. The camp is open to children ages 7-18 but special arrangements may be made for younger children based on interview and audition. Campers will be split into three age groups and will learn various concepts of musical theatre including:
- Vocal technique
- Song interpretation
- Movement to music
- Auditioning skills
- Stage make-up
- Set/costume theory and technique
- Acting skills such as:
- Improve technique
Live Oak Theatre Company, a not-for-profit family-oriented theatre company, will conduct its eighth annual summer program from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 19 through June 23. Camp will be held at Faith Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 200 Mt. Fair Ave., Brooksville, FL, 34601. Each day of camp will include a lunch break and time taken for snacks. Children must bring their own lunch, drinks, and healthy snacks.) Arrangements can be made for early drop-off/late pick up, on a case by case basis. The suggested donation for tuition is $150.
