Color Me Rad is coming to Tampa on May 25th! This 5K is great for the whole family as registration is open to absolutely everyone….young, old…runners, walkers…everyone. The run is not timed and there are no winners or losers. It’s just a great time filled with laughs and color for all.
You’ll begin the race in your crispest white clothes that will be bombed with blue, green, pink, purple, and yellow throughout the course until you cross the finish line into a final blitzkrieg of color. You’ll also be able to “bomb” other participants every 15-20 minutes! Does this sound like fun or what? The color is non-toxic, non-rash-inducing, Kroger branded, colored corn-starch. After the race, you can dust all the dry powder off. Well, almost all of it.
The Color Me Rad 5K is being held at the Florida State Fairgrounds (4800 US HWY 301, Tampa, FL 33610) and color bombs start flying at 9:00 a.m. with waves every five minutes. Registration gets you an awesome t-shirt, sunglasses, a race bib, a donation to a local charity, some swag from the sponsors, and one color bomb for the finale color throw. Regular registration is $40.00 through April 19th, late registration is $45.00 through May 17th and if it’s not sold out you can register through May 22nd for $55.00 per person. Kids under 7 race for free (but don’t get a t-shirt)! Click here to register now! Did I mention that this event will benefit the Special Olympics?
