Children’s Learning Trail Being Installed at Delta Woods Park

Hernando County’s first Born Learning Trail is being installed on June 18th at Delta Woods Park in Spring Hill. The interactive early learning Trail is designed to help parents, grandparents and caregivers enhance their park excursion with various fun learning moments. The Born Learning Trail is a series of 10 research-based trail stops with information on engaging young children to develop their language skills through fun tips and activities. An Grand Opening, ribbon cutting, and community BBQ is being held in celebration of the Trail’s installment for community use on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 starting at 1:30 p.m. Delta Woods Park is located at 3400 Deltona Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34606. The Trail is courtesy of United Way of Hernando County and their community partners and proud sponsors at Brown & Brown Insurance, the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals, Hernando County Parks & Recreation, and many dedicated volunteers.
