Shady Hills, FL – The popular Celebration of Lights event will twinkle and shine at The Concourse to the delight of children and families in the Tampa Bay area on Friday and Saturday nights December 6&7, 13&14, and 20&21 from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Gather your friends and join the excitement for just $10 per carload. This year activities will take place at The Concourse Rotary Pavilion. Enjoy the large holiday light displays, visit with Santa Claus, enjoy a variety of games and activities for kids, family entertainment, and food for purchase. Board the miniature Holiday Train for a festive ride on a brand-new section of track with seasonal decorations and lights for an additional fee of $6.00 per person.
This community event was founded by Dave Parris, who passed away in 2015. He fashioned this holiday light show after the one in his hometown, with hopes young families would create memories and someday bring their grandchildren.
The Concourse is a private nonprofit unique park venue. The 2019 Celebration of Lights is produced by The Concourse in partnership with Pasco County Parks, Recreation and Natural Resources, the Grand Concourse Railroad club, West Pasco Sertoma and Friends of Dave Parris, for the enjoyment and benefit of the community. Food for purchase will be provided by The Kiwanis Club of Pasco/Hernando.
